In this world of no settle
We’ve won many a battle
Yet rags we still adorn
And we’re short of corn
As the war rages on
We yearn for a new dawn<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Till God grants our wishes
We’ll quest for riches
But not only of cash
Also Spirit and flesh
And blood and bones
Good health has sweet tones<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hearken to the sounds
As we break the bounds
That try to bind us down
Fighting to make us drown
Working to restrict our fight
A challenge to our flight<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God gave us the light
And He grants us sight
To see the path ahead
And with care we tread
Wary of that wayward ploy
As we dash to freedom and joy<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This war is long and tough
It is high stakes and rough
Yes, the stakes are high
Because freedom is nigh
And of God we’re clone
Made of Spirit and stone<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus we shan’t fail
Even when we feel frail
To the Spirit we listen
Forward we must hasten
Pulling life-loads by a winch
Inch by inch, its a cinch<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God’s promise we hold
As we march we’re bold
We gain degrees of wisdom
As we attain our freedom
Yes we fit the bill
To prosper, and we will<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For if God is with us
It’s done in His will
It’s done in His time
It’s done in His power
It’s done without fail
